In Ziv v Allstate Insurance Company of Canada, the Tribunal awarded our client entitlement to incurred services, including $9,509.40 for dental treatments, and $1,149.00 for prescription glasses. The Tribunal further ordered Allstate Insurance Company to pay interest on these amounts.
In this case, the insurer attempted to exclude our client’s evidence, including hospital records, family doctor’s records, and a photo of our client’s damaged glasses. Upon reviewing the submissions of all parties, the Adjudicator refused the insurer’s request to exclude evidence.
